Orchard

1.- Avocados are manually harvested.
2.- They are placed in special sacs.
3.- Avocados are moved from the sacs to plastic boxes.
4.- They are transported to the plant to be packed.

Packing

1.- The plastic boxes are emptied.

2.- Avocados are brushed and selected by quality.

3.- They are labeled and selected  by weight.

4.- They are manually packed in carton boxes.

5.- They are packed in pallets.

6.- The avocados are cooled in tunnels.

PLASTIC BOX 4KG, 6KG, 10KG, 20KG.
CARDBOARD BOX  4KG, 6KG, 10KG, 11.3KG.

Transportation

1.- Pallets are loaded in the container.

2.-  The container is transported to final destination.

Containers with controlled atmosphere and satellite tracking, it could be by airplane (15 -20 pallets, 700 kilos of avocado per pallet) or ship (20 -26 pallets, 1,000 kilos of avocado per pallet).

Import

1.- The container arrives at detination.

2.- Depending on the season the avocados are stored in cold and they are treated with ethylene.

3.- They are stored again.

Final consumer
